Concert Information

You won’t want to miss this concert featuring three of the most well-known composers in the orchestral world — Bach, Beethoven & Brahms! Returning to our stage as guest soloist is Ralph Votapek, winner of the prestigious Naumburg Award and gold Medalist in the first Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Mr. Votapek has made literally hundreds of appearances with major American orchestras. Featured no less than sixteen times as the Chicago Symphony’s guest soloist, Votapek has frequently played with the Boston Pops, also concertizing with the Philadelphia Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Pittsburgh Symphony, the San Francisco Symphony, National Symphony, and leading orchestras in St. Louis, Houston Dallas, Louisville and elsewhere.

New This Year – Classical Chats!

HSO is trying a new approach…instead of having the pre-concert talk immediately prior to the concert, this talk is now part of our Classical Chat series.  This popular informative and informal talk, open to all ticket holders, will be held at the 6th Floor Auditorium in Freedom Village, on Thursday, September 22 at 3:00-4:00pm.  Please join us for this wonderful presentation!
