Family Concert: Discovering New Worlds

Time to dust off your Star Wars memorabilia and listen to music about new worlds both real and imaginary…

Featured on the coming concert will be the winner of the Norbert Mueller Concerto Competition Winner 2017, Natalie Bloss, violinist, who was selected as the first place winner of this year’s competition.  She will perform the first movement of  Lalo’s Symphonie espagnole.

This concert features pre-concert children’s activities starting at 2:30pm in the lobby.

Music includes Bernstein’s Mambo from West Side Story, Jupiter from the Planets, the Star Wars Theme, a movement from Dvorak Symphony 9, the Finale from Firebird Suite and Estancia-Malambo by Ginastera.  Lively, entertaining and very listenable music will be enjoyable for all ages!
